West Ham United striker Frank Nouble has agreed to a further month on loan with Gillingham.

The striker’s current loan spell was due to end after this weekend’s trip to Torquay United, but has now agreed to stay at Priestfield until after the trip to Aldershot on November 19th.

Nouble could well extend that further with both parties having the option to extend the loan spell for a third month.

Speaking to the press on Thursday morning, Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler was clearly delighted to have secured his services for longer:

“He is a handful isn’t he and he can play out in the side areas or through the middle.”

“He is very positive, he gets the ball and he will make things happen so I’m sure Torquay have done their homework on him.”

“We could possibly keep him for a third month but at the moment we’re just pleased that we’ve got him for another month and we’ll see what develops at the end of that.”

Nouble may well have extended his loan spell, however West Ham haven’t allowed him to feature for the Gills in the FA Cup.
